Aksi kekerasan polisi Amerika Serikat kembali tertangkap kamera. Dalam kecepatan tinggi mobil polisi menabrak seorang pria dalam sebuah momen pengejaran.

Peristiwa ini terjadi di Florissant, Missouri, pekan lalu. Berlangsung di wilayah perumahan, aksi penabrakan ini terekam oleh CCTV salah satu rumah warga. Beberapa media setempat melaporkan aksi penabrakan ini terjadi salam sebuah momen pengejaran.

Dalam video berdurasi sekitar 30 detik itu, mobil polisi berjenis SUV tanpa tanda identitas melaju kencang mengejar seorang pria yang tengah berlari. Terdengar benturan keras saat mobil menghantam tubuh si pria.

VIDEO OF FLORISSANT POLICE OFFICER IN UNMARKED CAR HITTING MAN SURFACES In a video obtained by RSTLN, police officers in an unmarked vehicle is seen hitting a man then running him over to stop him from getting away. The incident happened in the 9800 block of Eastdell Drive in the City of Dellwood. Florissant police has confirmed the detective driving the unmarked suv has been suspended. Unfortunately there is no body cam footage because the officer was not wearing one at the time. The man who was struck appeared to be hurt after the impact but that did not stop the detective from physically beating him. The incident happened close to midnight on June 2, 2020. The man is heard screaming in pain for help and complying with the officer who is seen making the arrest. Sources close to RSTLN states that the man went to the hospital due to multiple injuries. St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell released a statement regarding the video Saturday evening: "Upon learning of the existence of the video, we immediately began making investigative inquiries. We quickly learned that our office had a conflict of interest: a close relative of a staffer in our office was at the scene of the incident. The case was then assigned to St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar to act as a Special Prosecutor, as is our standard practice in conflict cases. We advised Florissant Chief Fagen to refer this matter to St. Louis County PD as well as the FBI for an independent investigation, which he informs us that he has already done." This use of force is the very thing people across the country are protesting about yet some officers are still doing their job the way they feel is necessary. It is unclear why the man was being pursued at this time. RSTLN did reach out to the department for a statement, but unfortunately got a voicemail. Pria itu terlihat kesakitan saat kesulitan berusaha berdiri. Sesaat berselang petugas polisi yang sudah turun dari mobilnya langsung menerjang dan menindihinya.

Terdengar teriakan 'saya tak menyimpan apa pun' dari pria tersebut. Dia juga berteriak-teriak meminta tolong saat tubuhnya ditindih polisi penabraknya.

Dikutip dari ABC, Kepolisian Florissant secara resmi sudah mengeluarkan pernyataan atas insiden tersebut dan menjatuhkan sanksi skorsing kepada petugasnya itu.

Aksi tabrak yang dilakukan petugas polisi ini mendapat banyak kritik. Apalagi petugas tersebut tidak memakai body-camera dan tidak menggunakan mobil dinas kepolisian.
